Our house ""Elissaldia"", founded in 1945, is located on Place Sauveur Atchoarena, in the heart of the village of Bidart .
Elissaldia, meaning "next to the church," is a family business run for four generations. A bar, restaurant, and hotel all in one, our establishment is open year-round and also boasts a unique and charming pelota court.

The hotel
Rated two stars, our hotel offers comfortable rooms that can accommodate 1 to 3 people. Some rooms have a partial sea view and views of the mountains or the village.
The rooms are decorated in a simple yet elegant style, and each one is equipped with amenities to enhance your stay (flat-screen TV, hairdryer, air conditioning, Wi-Fi). Air-conditioned rooms feature double beds with duvets.
Non-smoking hotel. It has 13 rooms.
One room is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
A continental breakfast is served in the dining room every morning.

The restaurant
Elissaldia is first and foremost a bar-restaurant, a place to live and connect, located in the village square. Our team welcomes you from morning to night and offers continuous service on the terrace or in one of its two large dining rooms.
We enjoy building relationships with our customers, the locals of Bidart, but also our regular lunchtime customers, our Saturday morning customers, those we see again during the holidays, and those who are just passing through and discovering the family atmosphere of our establishment. Because Elissaldia is, above all, a family business.
In the kitchen, it is Pantxika, one of the daughters of the house, who leads her brigade, decides on the menu and prepares the meals.
In the service, Peio, the eldest son, is accompanied by the twin sisters - the youngest Miren and Maitena - who work in the dining room and on the terrace during the season.
And, behind the bar there are Jean-Claude and Martine who, after 40 years behind the bar, are gradually handing over the reins to their children – Us 😉.
The restaurant, with a capacity of 110 covers, is divided into two large rooms. The main room is bright, features a fireplace, and overlooks the pelota court where you can watch games of Basque pelota. Our team is experienced in hosting group meals, seminars, ceremonies, and birthdays.
One small but important detail: our restaurant is air-conditioned.

The pelota court
Our pelota court is what makes our establishment unique… It is unlike any other and it brings people together. It brings together young and old, girls and boys, beginners and experienced players, those in all categories and those unranked. All year round, the sound of pelota echoes on its walls, marking the rhythm of the seasons. This is especially true from November to May, during the Ttotte Exposito tournament where all generations participate. Join us on May 8th every year for the finals!
